Jalapeno cheese biscuits

  1. Heat oven to 200C
  2. Grease and line baking sheet with parchment
  3. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl
  4. Cut the cheese and butter into cubes. De-seed and chop the jalapeno
  5. Rub the butter into the flour mixture
  6. Add the eggs, cheese, jalapeno and milk, then mix until combined, but don’t over-knead. Add more milk if needed.
  7. Sprinkle flour on work surface and turn dough out
  8. Shape into a disc about 4 cm thick, then cut into triangles
  9. Place triangles on baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown
