Potato bread
Ingredients
- 385 g mashed potato
- 375 g bread flour
- 1.5 tsp salt
- 1 sachet of yeast
- 1/3 cup oat milk (or normal milk)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
Method
- Mix the flour, salt and yeast.
- Add the milk, mashed potato and olive oil. Stir to combine until a dough forms.
- Knead for 5 minutes or until elastic.
- Cover with a damp towel for 45 minutes.
- Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
- Divide the dough into two and form into balls.
- Preheat oven to 200C.
- Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
- Bake for ~40 minutes or until browned and hollow sounding.
- Leave to cool fully before slicing.
