Savoury Scones

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200C
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, oregano, bakin soda, garlic powder, basil in a large bowl
  3. Crum in the butter
  4. Whisk together egg and milk
  5. Add egg and milk to dry ingredients, combine
  6. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead together into a ball.
  7. Roll out to ~3 cm thick
  8. Grease and line a baking sheet with baking paper
  9. Cut out scone shapes and place on baking sheet
  10. Wash with any of the remaining egg and milk mixture
  11. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden
