Vegan brownies
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 0.75 cup cocoa powder
- 0.5 cup vegetable oil
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
- 0.5 cup nuts (optional)
- 0.5 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Method
- Preheat oven to 180C
- Heat water and 1 cup of flour over low heat in a pan, until gooey
- Cool completely
- Mix sugar, salt, vanilla, cocoa powder, vegetable oil, add to flour mixture
- Mix well
- Add the remaining 1 cup flour, baking powder, nuts, chocolate chips, mix thoroughly
- Grease baking pan
- Bake for 25 minutes or until middle is cooked
