Ingredients
- 175 g self-raising flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 175 g sugar
- 175 g butter
- 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
Method
- Sieve flour into large mixing bowl
- Add baking powder, eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla extract
- Preheat oven to 170C
- Whisk until smooth
- Divide into 2 18-20 cm cake tins
- Bake for 20 minutes
- Sandwich with whipped cream and jam
