Ingredients
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can pinto beans, kidney beans are also good
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp hot chilli powder
- Salt
- 0.5 lime, juiced (optional)
- 0.5 white onion, diced
Method
- Heat oil in frying pan
- Cook garlic until fragrant
- Add Onions, cook on medium heat until soft
- Stir in beans, cumin, chilli powder, salt
- Let heat then start mashing the beans either with a spatula or a potato masher
- Squeeze over lime juice and stir until combined
